A Few Quirky Examples
Below are some examples of my Quirkz that I created throughout the years. These are just to give you an idea of what creating a Quirk can finally look like. You may possibly relate to one or two of them, but your Quirkz will be customized to you.

Batz - General Anxiety
Batz is my little vampire who's afraid of the dark - and everything else... so he worries alot!

Boo - Social Anxiety
Boo is my little ghost who wants to be invisible and hidden most of the time. She deals with painful shyness.

FireFly - ADHD
FireFly represents Inattentive ADHD and a lack of focus when needed. Her light bounces all over the place, as a result.

Stein - Depression
Stein in my mechanical monster who is followed by a rusting rain cloud all the time which brings him down.

Fuzz - Frustration
Fuzz captures my frustration and anger issues. He's a lovable character who just happens to get annoyed easily.

Mimmy - Body Image
Mimmy is my mummy that is uncomfortable with the way she looks outwardly, so covers herself in toilet paper.

Hi... I'm Jason.

I didn't create QuirkWork as a theory—I created it because I needed something that actually worked for me.

For years, I struggled with feelings that were hard to explain. I could be around people and still feel disconnected, or suddenly become overwhelmed and anxious for no clear reason. The hardest part was not understanding what was happening inside me.
​
After being diagnosed with a major mental health challenge at age 25, I spent years learning, healing, and rebuilding my life.
Along the way, I discovered something unexpected. When I turned difficult emotions into creative characters—my Quirkz—they became less overwhelming and easier to understand.
Instead of feeling consumed by what I was experiencing, I gained something I had never had before: space. Space to see my emotions, understand them, and respond in a calmer, more supportive way.

QuirkWork grew out of that experience. It's not about getting rid of emotions. It's about learning how to relate to them differently—and from that place, feeling a little better becomes possible.
Creating your Quirkz can be a fun, eye-opening experience—but it's often easier with a guide.
Together, we'll explore the emotions, stress patterns, and challenges you're experiencing and transform them into personalized Quirkz that help you understand yourself in a whole new way.
